Duties & Responsibilities
Experienced Medical Assistant specialized in providing medical care to patients with diseases of nervous system. His duties include the following:
Diagnose patients with diseases that affect the nervous system, Develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medication for seizures, Encephalitis, Meningitis, and Alzheimer’s disease among others, and administer various tests such as computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) tests.
- When needed, provide pain management treatments
- Communicate and inform patients or family members
- Track patient's progress
- Communicate with other health care professionals
- Maintain the highest professional standards
- Adhere to rules and regulations
- Adhere to laws
- Participate in neuroscience research activities
- Assess the severity of spinal cord disorders, and other deformities
- Recommend alternative treatments
